Name : Acesulfame-K

Warning : It may be a carcinogen.

Comment : Non-caloric sweetener 200 times sweeter than sugar. Used in confections, frozen desserts, confectionery, dairy products, medicines, cosmetics, mouthwash, and especially in beverages. CSPI (Center for Science in the Public Interest) includes artificial sweeteners - aspartame, saccharin and acesulfame K in its list of "Ten Worst supplements." They cause tumors in experimental animals and increases the risk of cancer development in humans.

Name : Cyclamic acid

Warning : Carcinogen.

Comment : Banned in the USA and UK. Calcium and sodium cyclamate artificial sweeteners cause migraines and other side effects. May lead to cancer. In animal experiments found testicular damage in rats and mice embryos.

Name : Caramel (ammonium sulfite)

Warning : For children is particularly harmful, can cause hyperactivity.

Comment : Dark brown dye, which is derived from sucrose. Recommended to avoid its use. Used in oyster, soy, fruit and frozen sauces, beer, whiskey, biscuits, pickles.

Comment : Derived from chemicals in a laboratory and have absolutely no nutritional value. Each artificial flavor in the food industry have some harmful effects on health.

Warning : No evidence of adverse effects.

Comment : Used to acidification of food products. Derived from citrus fruits. Found in biscuits, frozen fish, cheese and other dairy products, infant food, cakes, soups, rye bread, soft drinks, fermented meat products.
