Warning : Leads to hyperactivity in children

Comment : Banned in Norway, Finland and the UK. It is obtained by synthetical way. Used in cereals, bakery products, snacks, ice cream, beverages and frozen foods, as well as some medications: Berocca, Polaramine, Ventolin - syrup and others. Side effects include: urticaria, rhinitis, nasal congestion, allergies, hyperactivity, kidney tumors, chromosomal damage, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, indigestion, distaste for food. It is to increase the incidence of tumors in animals. Banned in Norway.

Name : Annatto, bixin, norbixin

Warning : Risk of allergies and eczema

Comment : Dangerous. Recommended to avoid its use. Red dye. Derived from a tree (Bixa orellana). It is used for coloring and body tissues. Aids digestion and expectoration. Used for coloring cheese, butter, margarine, cereals, snacks, soaps, textiles and nail polish. Can cause urticaria.

Warning : May cause nausea, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, skin irritation.

Comment : Soft inhibitor isolated from bacteria. It is used to treat candidiasis (a disease caused by fungi of the genus Candida). May cause nausea, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, skin irritation. Found in meat, cheese.
